11 for 11 may 🙏, 15, 21, 23, 25, 28, 31, 38, 45, 48 😉 & 49!
11 for 11 may, my god bless you my friend!! <3 And Also THANKS FOR THE ASKS!! <33 Sorry it took so long I really wanted to take my time hehe c: 11. Describe your ideal day. I think my ideal day is sleeping in late, what for me is normal, around 12pm. Then I wake up, eat a good breakfast, sit with my cat on my lap for smtn like an hour. And then I go outside, bcs the sun is shining. I meet my friends and we go picknick somewhere in the sun beneath a few little trees. I buy smtn to drink somewhere because its very hot and ofc I forgot my drink. Its so refreshing and I feel so alive and the world is so beautifull. Me and my friends, we laugh a lot and just enjoy the good weather, the nice day and the little foods. And than at the evening we bbq or eat smtn else nice, and have a good evening. We sit outside for a while, feeling the summer evening becoming cooler. We watch as the stars come out and think to ourselves if we ever looked up at the same stars together in another life. And then when it’s really late, I go back home, feeling the cool breeze against my skin while I ride my electric bike. At home everyone is asleep so I walk in very softly and there I see my cat sleeping in the chair so I walk to her and bent over giving her a gentle kiss on her little head. She makes mmrrr sound and I tell her I love her and that I had an amazing day. After that I give her some food and I go to bed. Maybe take a showe bcs it was so hot today. And then I lay in my bed, tired but very fufilled after such a wonderfull day. Storing the happy memories in my head thinking how blessed I am with my life. As I fall asleep I feel gratefull for today and all the beautiful things that brought it. Yeah, I think thats mu ideal day. Friends, good weather, sunshine, little food, laughter, love, my cat lucy, summer - yeah smtn like that c: 15. What is your favorite compliment to recieve? I like all kind of compliments. Im a sucked for compliments. I know I do a good job most of the time, but there’s just smtn in me that really likes the validation? I know I don’t need it. But it just makes my soul shine like: Ohmygawd thank you so much this makes me so happy D:. But If I had to think, I think I like the compliment saying I have a good energy or vibe the most. Bcs its so pure and real and not everyone can sense/say that. And you’re energy is not smtn you can fake or make more beautiful. So its such a sincere compliment, that I think thats my favorite compliment to recieve c: 21. Tell us about your music taste. Bro, this is a long one HAHAHA. But I will keep it short: ‘Diverse.’ I think that describes my music taste the best. Because I listen to A LOT of different things. Just what I feel like or in what mood I am. And one thing I also like a lot is when a song makes me feel ‘free’. As if im totally cut off from the world. Thats a really nice feeling music can give you. And ofc songs that make me feel things. Bcs often then I can use it as inspiration. So yeah, thats abt my music taste haha c: Also! I like it when songs have a deeper meaning. Idk why, but thats just megical c: 23. Did you have a favorite stuffed animal as a kid? OH I already answered this one so I will just copy and paste it here! c: ‘’ YES! I HAD. AND I STILL HAVE IT! I dont sleep with it anymore but it has a honorable place among my other stuffed animals. It is a cow, that is formed like a teddy bear so its more cartroony instead of animal like, her name is Koetjeboe and you could play a musicbox song of A Small World from Disneyland. It was my favarite soung and whenever I felt anxious as I child I would play it and it would sooth my soul and fill me with happyness. Aaah good times c: I also had a cat, named, Poes, she is very very very soft, well was, nowadays she aint HAHA she looked like my cat when I was younger, Sjimmie, I loved the plush. Mom bought it for me in England in the Harry Potter castle. It was amazing c: So, I kinda had two, but Koetjeboe the cow is rly my birth stuffed animal haha c:’’ 25. What dream trip would you take with your wife? Honestly, anywhere with her would be a dream. And if she has somewhere wehere she really wants to go, I would just go with that c: Seeing someone you love happy is such a gift so I totally wouldn’t mind going anywhere. That is also because I have so many places I want to go, and almost every place interests me. I can’t think of a country or city or place I am not interested in visiting. I always loved to travel, and still do, so anything would be good c: But if she’s like: Hey what do you want badly? I would probably say somewhere with a beach. I love the sea and I love the beach. So that would be a thing I would love too hahaha. But yeah, anything rly, and the beach c: 28. What makes you smile? Oh boi, what doesn’t?! HAHA. A lot of things make me smile tbh bcs I get happyness out of almost everything. I can remember that I was crying and felt sad, and even then I smiled because it was such a special experience haha. But if I had to say some things I would say; My cat Lucy, cant help but smile whenever I see her, my friends, you super included <3, sunshine, good food, baby animals and honestly just life in general c: 31. How do you show your love? Again, how don’t I? I learned at a very young age to show love in different ways. Bcs I wanted to be a good person. And one of those things is showing love. So I do it with words, saying I really love someone or giving them compliments, thats a big one for me haha. I also like to really support my friends through words. Just supporting them for whoever they are! I also like to give things. It can go from small presents to food to many or big presents on their birthday. Also I like to help people, to give them advice or agai support them any way I can. I also show it through physical contact, as in hugs ans such. And I even sometimes lean toward just really cuddling up to someone HAHAHA But I don’t do that tbh, bcs at the same time it makes me feel uncomfy, but at the same time im like: Ohmygawd I love yo uso much just lemme huddle up against you to share my love with you and ahfgs. So amny ways HAHAHA some more difficult for me and others really easy. Like presents or food, hit me up, imma get you some nice flowers or some sweets or a book you really like bcs I love yu!
38. Who do you admire? Myself *smirk* HAHHA no kiddin. I admire my friends. Because those people have been through hell, or still going through hell, and still decide to be genuine good persons. I’ve seen from upclose what they have to deal with. And they still give so much love tot he world and people and want to help. Its really a blessing to have people like that around me. And I thank the heavens for that. So I would say my friends. Yes. (pls know you are in this picture too. Hello, going through hell still being super good person, ok.) 45. Do you have tattoos or want any? Yes, I have one underneath my feet. HAHA oke jokes, sorry HAHA. No I don’t have any. And I would like one yes. Im not sure what I want tho. I am always thinking of a tiger. Or a lotus flower. Or a little symbol on the inside of my left wrist. That last one I smtn I’ve had for years. I dont know why but I would really like that. A small thing on that place. But what that is gonna be, I have NO idea. OH and I want a smilie face underneath my big toe! Thats just one for fun, but I would rly like it haha.
48. Did you know you’re actually a gift tot he world, for real? IM NOT CRYING YOU ARE *SOB* Thank yo uso much frend!! It means so much to me to hear that I just can’t. My gosh. When I see yu imma hug ya big time. SOB 49. What’s your favorite memory? Ooh this is a hard one. Mostly because I have many good memories and also because Im actually pretty bad at remembering things HAHHA thats two opposites I know xD But uuh, oke I thought about it, but im so sorry i cant think of one RIP. But if I had to choose I would choose smtn that made me smile. That made me really happy. So one with Lucy, many with Lucy, or one with my friends, many with my friends, with my mom, traveling, and so fort. There are a lot and I wish i could show them all to you. Sadly I can’t. BUT We can make our own favorite memories. So lets do that, okay? <3

4. how did your elementary school teachers describe you?
Bright but argumentative. I was never afraid of pointing out things I didn’t feel were fair hfhddh
When we were learning numbers kids would often write 91 for nineteen, just flip them, y’know, and Ms. Potter yelled at the class for it. Baby Generiq went into it about how it was an understandable mix up because you do say the number first. Kurtbastian one-shot “Spooktastic” (Rated PG13)
Summary: Sebastian fantasizes about Kurt showing up at the rink in the costume of his dreams.
And he does, but that depends on the type of dream ...
Notes: For those of you who will inevitably ask, yes, we had someone dressed in a giant lavender inflatable unicorn at our rink this Halloween xD
Part 49 of Outside Edge
Read on AO3.
“A bloody hockey mask?” Blaine snickers, sliding to a stop with enough force to spray Sebastian’s skates with snow. “As far as Halloween costumes go, isn’t that a little too on the nose for you?”
“What are you talking about?” Sebastian raises the red streaked and busted mask so Blaine can hear him clearly. “I’m not wearing a costume.”
“A-ha. Okay, Captain Edgy,” Blaine says rolling his eyes.
Sebastian doesn’t defend his costume choice. Easy is as easy does, and he’d rather be on the ice than wasting his time dressing up. He knows he copped out. So what that his costume is a little low maintenance? He doesn’t want to admit that he’s not into the gory side of Halloween. It’s a carefully guarded secret (so guarded, not even Kurt knows) that he hangs out at the rink and coaches on Halloween because blood and gut costumes freak him out – a residual fear from an episode years ago when Sebastian, alone at home while his folks were off on another of many ‘important’ business trips, decided to spend Halloween in his parent’s wine cellar watching every horror movie the satellite TV could pick up.
After the fifth movie, he’d wanted to call it quits, but he couldn’t bring himself to walk through the cold, dark cellar upstairs to the main house, so he hunkered down under the blankets he had brought with him and stayed there, eyes wide open, watching cartoons on repeat till his uncle came home in the morning.
Three straight nights of zero sleep followed, and he swore he’d never watch another horror flick again.
The rink goes all out on Halloween to give kids a safe place to Trick or Treat and enjoy themselves. The kids who attend more or less stick to store bought, cutesy costumes that are easy to skate in, so Sebastian’s hockey mask is pretty much the grossest thing out on the ice.
“What about you?” Sebastian gestures to Blaine’s gelled hair, his leather jacket, and his tighter than necessary (especially for skating) jeans. “You dressed like Elvis?”
“What?” Blaine looks down at his clothes, then back at Sebastian and grins. “I’m not wearing a costume.”
Sebastian scowls, but then bounces his head in agreement. “You’re right. I don’t think you are wearing a costume.”
“Hey! Have any of you guys seen Kurt? He’s supposed to check in by now,” Chandler asks, skating over with roster in hand, and wearing a giant, inflatable, lavender unicorn costume. Blaine, Sebastian, and the other coaches with them can’t help chuckling every time he waddles over. The consensus is it’s literally the most ridiculous thing anyone has ever seen.
But the kids love it so, in that respect, Chandler wins coach of the month.
Sebastian is grateful Chandler has the skating skills to keep him upright in that thing. It would suck to have to pick him up off the ice every five feet.
“I haven’t seen him yet,” Blaine answers, which annoys Sebastian thoroughly. In Kurt matters, Sebastian should always get the first say.
“He didn’t come to the rink with us,” Sebastian adds when Chandler looks at him with confusion. “He was still working on his costume when we left. He said he wanted it to be a surprise.”
“Ooo la la!” Chandler coos, grinning behind the clear panel in the unicorn’s chest that allows him to see. “I can’t wait to see what he comes up with this year! He has the best skating outfits on the ice. His Halloween costume must be epic!”
“Yeah,” Sebastian mutters dreamily, biting his lower lip and imagining the kind of costume his boyfriend might have come up with. Like Blaine, he favors tight shirts, even tighter pants, and dramatic makeup, which Sebastian never thought for the life of him would be a thing that would get his engine going. Makeup on boys seemed unnatural to him - a desperate cry for attention. But after seeing the looks Kurt comes up with, boy has Sebastian changed his mind! And not just about Kurt. About every boy who wears makeup. It never dawned on Sebastian how freeing makeup could be, how expressive, how unique.
And in Kurt’s case, how erotic.
Quite a one-eighty for a boy who never thought he’d date in high school, not to mention Ice Queen Kurt Hummel.
Sebastian can picture Kurt dressing up as a fox in a sleek velvet bodysuit with a fluffy tail. Or an elf, Lord of the Rings style - regal and strong in a tailored tunic and silver-blond wig. Or maybe something with Spanish flair, like a flamenco dancer or a Matador. (Kurt’s been really into Ricky Martin lately …. obnoxiously so …) Another coach on the ice is dressed as a peacock – teal blue spandex unitard covered in crystals and sequins, with a full tail of feathers attached to the rear that shimmies when she skates. Sebastian can see Kurt rocking that look, no question. That shade of blue would make his eyes pop.
And that fan of feathers would make his ass look fantastic!
Sebastian shifts from skate to skate, becoming antsy as images of his boyfriend in sexy Halloween costumes flood his brain, some of them as unoriginal as a box of bricks - sexy doctor, sexy lit professor, sexy crossing guard. But that wouldn’t matter, because on Kurt, a burlap potato sack would look hot as hell. Sebastian doesn’t think Kurt would opt for store bought though. Whatever he’s come up with has to be glamorous, elaborate, and bedazzled within an inch of his life. But if he shows up dressed as a sexy police officer, wearing aviator shades and carrying handcuffs, they may have to take off their skates and call it a night, because Sebastian wouldn’t be able to stop tripping over his tongue.
“Uh … Sebastian? Are you in there? Are you still with us?” Blaine says, waving his fingers in front of Sebastian’s eyes. Sebastian went catatonic the second Chandler mentioned Kurt’s costume, staring off into space and licking his lips as if he’s daydreaming about his favorite ice cream flavor. Blaine can’t help envying Sebastian’s relationship with Kurt. He does every single day.
Watching tough guy Sebastian Smythe drool over his boyfriend is too jealousy-inducing for words.
Sebastian shakes his head, snapping out of his stupor as a whiff of Blaine’s aftershave invades his nostrils with its overpowering scent of ‘tree’. “Ugh,” he groans, turning his head and scanning the rink, jumping from costume to costume, searching for his boyfriend. “Can you lay off the cologne a bit? I know it might be too late for you, but I want to keep my brain cells.”
“Fuck you, too, dude.”
Blaine spots him first. Of course he does. Sebastian knows Blaine sees him by the way his stupid eyes grow wider and wider until they take up three-quarters of his face, squeezing his mouth down to the vicinity of his chin.
“Oh … my … God …” Blaine chuckles, eyes darting from behind Sebastian’s back to his face. “Hi, Kurt.”
“Hello, boys.”
Sebastian hears his boyfriend’s voice and he smiles. His man is here. His moment has arrived. Sebastian glares at Blaine, who’s already backing away, a look on his face that Sebastian doesn’t know how to interpret.
“I think I’ll just … go this way.” Blaine laughs into his hand as he joins a small group of starter tots on center ice.
“See that you do,” Sebastian says, glad that, for once, Blaine can take a hint and skedaddle. He feels Kurt’s hands slide up his arms to his shoulders, caressing gently from behind. He can’t see Kurt’s hands, but that’s okay. He doesn’t want to see anything that will give Kurt’s costume away before he can turn around and get the full effect.
Sebastian tilts his head to talk over his shoulder. “Hello, handsome.”
Kurt drops a subtle kiss onto Sebastian’s ear. “Hello, yourself. So, what do you think of my costume?”
“I haven’t seen it yet,” Sebastian teases.
“Oh,” Kurt says, probably assuming Sebastian had caught a glimpse in the reflection of the windows as he approached. “Well, turn around and take a look.”
Sebastian doesn’t need to be told twice. He spins around with the enthusiasm of a kid hoping for a bike on his birthday but expecting a car. He’s prepared to see Kurt in skin tight spandex of some variety, with a wicked cat’s eye liner, and cheekbones contoured to cut glass. Kurt probably shimmers like a disco ball, a God in Swarovski crystals and mesh paneling.
It takes a few moments of staring, blinking, and gaping to comprehend the look that Kurt has put together.
When Sebastian does, he recoils.
“Oh my God, Kurt!” he squawks, stumbling backward over his heels and falling on his ass. “What the … what are you!?”
“I’m a zombie!” Kurt raises his arms and turns on his toe picks to give Sebastian a look at the final product.
“A zom---wha-what?” Sebastian’s eyes work overtime racing up and down Kurt’s body – the filthy rags hanging off his limbs, gaping holes torn through the fabric; his skin greying and ashen, the makeup done (brilliantly, Sebastian has to admit) to make his eyes and cheeks look sunken and rotting; his hair darkened and plastered to his skull. Considering how voluminous his hair normally is, it must have taken gobs of product to get it flat like this. Then there’s the blood - thick, black, greasy blood crusting at the corners of his mouth, leaking from his eyes, oozing out his ears and nose. He’d glued pieces of organs bulging from cracks in the exposed sections of his torso, a fractured bone splitting the skin of his forearm.
This look, so far removed from his usual makeup creations, definitely showcases the incredible talent of Kurt Hummel. It could have been done by a professional effects artist, it’s that detailed.
And it’s repulsive!
“Why would you wear that?” Sebastian cries, scooting backward to keep his boyfriend at arm’s length.
“Duh! It’s Halloween!” Kurt giggles. “It’s not like it’s Christmas or the fourth of July! We’re supposed to dress scary! You’re wearing a bloody hockey mask!”
A hundred remarks flash through Sebastian’s brain, but he can’t get a single one past his tongue, not with his boyfriend standing above him looking exactly like a putrid corpse! It’s not Kurt’s fault. Sebastian never told him how much ghouls and spooks and zombies terrify him. Still, he never pictured Kurt going full out gore for Halloween, not in a million years. Sebastian plans to tell him as soon as he can get Kurt alone, but that’s provided he takes that makeup off first. But Sebastian can’t ask Kurt to do that. It must have taken ages to do! He has to find a middle ground. He glances with his eyes from side to side until he finds what he’s looking for.
“Uh, I’ve got to … there’s somewhere … I’m going to the locker room,” Sebastian says, scrambling to his feet. “But, uh … I’m going to text you, so keep your phone on. Okay?”
Yeah. That’s it. He’ll text him an explanation. Through a locked door from fifty feet away! Not like that’s lame or anything.
“Come on, Sebastian.” Kurt puckers black, broken lips and obliviously gives chase. “Stop playing hard to get and give me a kiss!”
“Nope. No. No way, no how!” Sebastian says, crawling on his hands and knees when he finds he can’t stand, clawing at the ice to evade his boyfriend. “Kurt! Get away from me, Kurt, or I’m gonna cancel my ten o’clock!”

99 Reasons
Fandom: Marvel
Paring: Steve Rogers x Reader
Summary: It’s Steve’s 99th Birthday, so you give him 99 reasons why you love him.
A/N: On July 4th, 1918, Steven Grant Rogers was born…HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVIE!!!
Warning: ULTIMATE FLUFF ALERT. also, this is pretty lengthy. but whatevs.
You were awake really early today. You were just too excited. It was your husband, Steve’s 99th birthday. Big wow! For the first 5 minutes after you woke up, you just watched the super soldier sleep. His face was neutral, but you could tell how content he was. You heart swelled knowing that you were the cause.
You cautiously kissed him on the forehead and slipped out of bed walking towards your dresser. You opened the top drawer and dug underneath your clothes to find the little cards. This was your birthday present to Steve.
You crept quietly to the edge of the bed and laid out the first 10 then brought the rest with you. You went to the kitchen and set 10 more onto the counter island, then began to gather the things you needed to make breakfast.
Steve began to stir awake. He felt around the bed for you and was met with nothing. His brows furrowed in confusion as he slowly opened his eyes to find that you were not there. He rubbed the sleep away from his eyes and sat up. He stretched his arms above his head and gave a groan. Then his eyes settled on to pieces of paper that were laid atop the foot of the bed.
99 Reasons I Love You Said the first card.
1. I love you for the way you make me feel when I am with you
2. I love your humor
3. I love how we complete each others thoughts
4. I love your smile
5. I love your eyes
6. I love how I see myself through your eyes
7. I love how you make me smile
8. I love that we will grow old together
9. I love that you are my best friend in the whole world and always have been
10. I love it when we stay up all night talking about nothing
Said the next ones. Steve smiled and gathered up the cards. He got up and put on some sweats and made his way to the kitchen.
His eyes fell on you. You were wearing his shirt and swayed to the soft sound of Glenn Miller on the record player. You turned around, plate of bacon in hand and smiled up at Steve, “Mornin’ birthday boy.”
He walked to the counter to see 10 more cards laid out:
11. I love it when we stay up all night talking serious and not remembering what we talked about the next day.
12. I love how your body feels next to mine
13. I love knowing that if I died tomorrow, that I found my soulmate before I did
14. I love the way you look at me
15. I love the way I look at you
16. I love that you respect me
17. I love that even though you know everything about me you still look at me the way you do
18. I love the way you love me
19. I love the way I love you
20. I love your touch
Steve smiled and caught your eye, “You’re amazing, you know that?”
You shrugged, “I mean, I guess.” You gestured to the barstool seats, “Go ahead and sit. The food’s almost ready.”
“Yes, ma’am,” Steve said sitting himself down and watching you cook.
You plated his food first and tucked 10 more cards onto his plate, then slid it over to him. He read them:
21. I love how you enjoy the little things I do for you and think they are big
22. I love the sparkle in your eyes
23. I love cuddling with you.
24. I love how our bodies connect like a puzzle when I lie on your chest
25. I love how we communicate so well
26. I love that you listen to what I say
27. I love that you tell me what you feel
28. I love that you are the last voice I hear before I go to bed
29. I love that I am the first voice you hear when you wake up
30. I love how you complete me
Steve was beaming. You slid your plate next to his then turned off the stove. You walked over to the other side and you stood in between his legs and kissed him. Kisses with Steve were always so gentle and loving and always made your heart skip a beat.
“Happy birthday, Steve.” You whispered to him.
His forehead rested against yours, “Thank you, my love.”
After breakfast, you told Steve that you had made plans for him. So you told him to take a shower and dress up. As he was setting his clothes on the bed, you quickly taped 10 cards onto the bathroom mirror. You kissed Steve’s cheek as you exited the bathroom and he entered. You already started the water for him, so all he had to do was wait. He looked at the mirror and read the next cards:
31. I love the way you play with my hair
32. I love the way you carress my face
33. I love the way you kiss my neck
34. I love watching you with my friends
35. I love that you take time for my family
36. I love your generous nature
37. I love your outgoing personality
38. I love your laugh
39. I love your warmth and kindness
40. I love that you love spending time with me
He smiled and shook his head. He felt the water and then hopped in.
When Steve stepped out of the bathroom, you were already dressed and ready to go. He stepped towards the bed to see, yet another set of cards, :
41. I love that your ticklish
42. I love how you make me laugh
43. I love the way we finish each others sentences
44. I love the fact that I will never give up on you
45. I love the way I can’t imagine a day without you in my life
46. I love how when I dream of my life partner, the only person that I can see is you
47. I love your thoughtfulness
48. I love your tenderness
49. I love the way you treat my friends
50. I love the way your voice sounds over the phone
Steve gathered them and held them up, “You know, these cards are kinda making me not want to go out and just want to spend the whole day with you. In bed. Naked.”
You laughed, “Maybe next year, soldier. But today, I made a whole list of things for us to do. So hurry up and get ready!”
Steve chuckled, “Okay! Okay! I’m going!”
As Steve began to dress you made your way to the front door, “I’ll be in the car waiting!”
Steve hollered back, “Alright!” Then quickly pulled his clothes on.
Steve jogged out of the building and hopped into the passenger’s seat to find more cards taped onto the dashboard.
51. I love the way your voice sounds whispering in my ear
52. I love how our romance feels like the perfect romance movie
53. I love the way you protect and defend me
54. I love your intelligence
55. I love your passion for life
56. I love how everytime I look at you, you take my breath away
57. I love how I thank God everyday for bringing someone as wonderful as you into my life
58. I love how my heart skips a beat when you walk into a room
59. I love the ways you choose to show your affection for me
60. I love the way you inspire me to be more than I am
Steve pulled them off and pocket them with the rest. He then pulled you by the back of your neck and planted a loving kiss on your lips, “I love you,” he mumbled.
You smiled, “I love you too.” You started the car and began to drive.
During the short drive to the location that was unknown to Steve, he kept guessing what plans you had for him. You just laughed.
“Babe, I’m not telling you! It’s all a surprise!”
He hung his head down and laughed, “Alright. Sorry.”
“What? You don’t trust me?” You asked playfully.
Steve rolled his eyes at you, “You know I do. I’m just anxious!”
You giggled at his giddiness, “Calm down, old man. Before you get a heart attack.” That earned you a poke to your side and you squealed, “Stop it! You’re going to make me crash!” He stopped but continued tot giggle.
You drove up to the sidewalk of Central Park and parked. Steve rose a questioning eyebrow, “Picnic?”
You winked at him, “Help me with the stuff in the back, Cap.”
“You got it, doll.” He quickly unbuckled his seatbelt and hopped out of the car. Making his way to the trunk. He opened it and read the cards that laid in front of a picnic basket and a pink box.
61. I love you just the way you are
62. I love our life together
63. I love the way you look when you’re sleeping
64. I love your strength of character
65. I love the way you take the time to thank me for doing everyday things
66. I love your confidence
67. I love your ability to make me feel better when times are tough
68. I love the way you support me when I’m off track
69. I love your openness to try new things
70. I love your ability to talk things through
With every card he read, Steve could tell he as falling even deeper in love with you. And he didn’t think it was possible. He swiped up the cards having them join the rest of the deck and he grabbed the picnic basket. You came and picked up the pink box.
“What’s that?” You gave him a look and he gave a defeated sigh, “’It’s a surprise’. Okay. Okay.” You two walked down the ever familiar trail. You then walked down the familiar trail. Steve’s hand held the basket, while his other rested on your waist as you two walked. You two walked in a comfortable silence, until you “ran” into a familiar face.
“Buck?” Steve asked as his best friend walked up to him.
Bucky smiled, “Happy birthday, Punk.” He gave his friend a hug and pulled out a card giving it to him.
Steve looked at you and you nodded. A silent confirmation that it was part of the rest. He turned it over and read it:
71. I love your courage to be you
Steve was smiling again.
“You got an incredible dame there, Stevie.” Bucky said smiling at you.
Steve kissed your temple, “Don’t I know it.” The three of you continued to walk until you ran into a line of Steve’s friends and fellow Avengers.
First it was Nat, who smirked as she handed him a card:
72. I love your greatness
Then it was Sam:
73. I love the fact that you want to be with me
Then Tony, with, of course, a snide comment, “Man. You’re older than sliced bread.” Earning a frustrated shake of the head from your husband.
74. I love you for you
Wanda:
75. I love your body
Clint:
76. I love the way you take the time to show me how much you love me
Bruce:
77. I love that you have a movie addiction just like me
Vision:
78. I love the way you treat my family
Sharon:
79. I love that my family loves you
And then Peter Parker, which shocked Steve. The young man stood there giddy, “Hiya, Captain! Happy birthday! Again, I’m really sorry for-”
Steve chuckled, “Thanks, kid. And it’s alright. I’m glad you’re here.” Peter was beaming with pride at the comment.
80. I love the way you are not scared to show your affection when we are in public
The group of you all walked to the open field where there was already sheets laid out to sit on accompanied with their own picnic baskets. Everyone happily plopped themselves down onto a spot and began bringing out the food.
You all sat around eating and laughing with each other. You then took out your camera and started snapping pics of Steve with everyone.
“Alright! Hand it over!” Tony exclaimed coming to your side. He snatched the camera out of your hands, “Go pose with the icicle before he melts.”
Steve rolled his eyes, “Tony!”
Tony smirked, “What? You think I’m gonna respect you even if you’re technically older? Biologically, you’re younger than me! So respect your biological elder, Rogers!” Everyone laughed, including you, and you sat down next to Steve smiling at the camera.
“Ugh. You both disgust me with your puppy love.” Tony said as he continued taking pictures. You stuck your tongue out at him and smiled when you heard Steve’s laugh. You then pulled out more cards from your pocket and handed them to him:
81. I love that you love my cooking
82. I love the way you take care of us
83. I love your willingness to share everything, espescially your heart
84. I love your way with words
85. I love that you call me your “doll”
86. I love the special moments that we share
87. I love your passion for your hobbies and interests
88. I love your competitiveness
89. I love your ingenuity
90. I love the surprises you do for me
“I can’t believe you’re doing this, doll.” Steve said looking at you lovingly.
“I’d do anything for you, Steve. And I want you to always know all of the reasons of why I love you.”
“You’re incredible.” Steve mumbled as he leaned in for a kiss.
“GAG ME WITH A SPOON!” Bucky cried out interrupting you two. You laughed as Steve balled up his napkin and threw it at his chuckling best friend.
“I think it’s time for cake.” Nat handed you the pink box and you set it in front of Steve. You opened it to reveal a medium sized cake in the shape of the famous Captain America shield. Written in icing was “Happy Birthday Steve!”
Nat then handed you two candles that were shaped into 9s and you stuck them into the cake.
“Oh thank God. I thought you were actually going to stick 99 candles in there.”
You scoffed, “Nobody has time for that!” You then lit the candles and everyone began to sing:
Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday, dear Steeeevve!
Happy birthday to yooouuu!
Steve took a breath then blew the candles out earning some cheers and applause.
“Did you wish for something, Captain Rogers?” Peter asked.
He shook his head, “Nope.”
You frowned, “Why not?”
Steve smiled and pulled you close, “Because I have everything I could wish for right here.” That earned some aws and eye rolls.
“You’re so corny, Rogers.”
Steve chuckled, “I blame you, Mrs. Rogers.” He gave you a quick peck on the lips and then began to cut the cake.
A couple hours later, everyone cleaned up and was ready to head back home. You and Steve said your good-byes thanking everyone for their help and presence. You two then walked back to the car hand in hand.
“So did you enjoy yourself?”
Steve nodded looking at you, “Of course. I was surrounded by my wife and family. How could I not?”
You hugged him, “Good.” He hummed with contentment.
The short time back to your apartment was filled with a comfortable silence. You both headed to the bedroom immediately wanting to relax after today’s events.
You both were now situated in bed. Steve’s arms comfortably around you. You then handed him the last set of cards:
91. I love your sensuality
92. I love how you demand respect but aren’t controlling
93. I love how I would do anything for you to make you happy
94. I love how you would do anything to make me happy
95. I love how even when you’re not with me I still feel like you’re right here with me
96. I love the way you won’t let me compromise myself
97. I love the way that you won’t compromise yourself
98. I love that you are always there for me
After not finding the 99th card, Steve looked at you in confusion, “Where’s the last one?”
You bit your lip as you handed him the very last card:
99. I love that you’re going to be an amazing father.
Steve’s breath hitched and he felt like time stood still. He read the card over and over again and then looked at you, “You’re-?”
You nodded and handed him the pregnancy test that had a plus sign staring at him, “You’re gonna be a dad.”
Tears started welling in Steve’s eyes, “I’m gonna be a dad.” He whispered. He broke out into a smile, “I’m gonna be a dad!” He dropped the card and small stick and pulled you to him. His lips capturing yours, “We’re gonna be parents,” he whispered with excitement.
You laughed and nodded, “Yeah, we are, Stevie.”
Steve hugged you, “This is the best present ever, doll.”
He then let go and slid down becoming eye level with your stomach, “Hey, baby. This is your daddy. I can’t wait to meet you. You’ve already made me so happy.” He kissed your stomach then craned his neck up to kiss you, “I love you so much, Y/N Rogers.”
You smiled, “And I love you Steve Rogers. Everything about you. 99 reasons and more.”

The Fun Way Parents (and Kids) Can Find More Privacy at Home
baona / Getty Images
With the novel coronavirus forcing families to remain cooped up—often in too-small spaces—parents are pining for more privacy. Well, guess what? Your kids may be dying to get away from you, too.
“Since adults and older kids have taken over home offices, kitchen tables, and living rooms, younger children often feel like they don’t have a space to call their own,” says Julie Muniz, a curator who specializes in 20th- and 21st-century art and design.
One solution that’s catching on? Forts, tents, teepees, and other cute shelters that can double as mini man caves for the grade school set. Not only can kids find some peace and privacy in such spots, but having their own space offers more subtle benefits, too.
“A special spot for kids to hide in can foster creativity, allow them to become independent thinkers, and enjoy a sense of ownership in their personal space,” says Kami Kincaid, an architect at Perkins & Will and herself the mom of two.
In fact, the architects at Kincaid’s firm came up with a design for a collapse-proof DIY blanket fort to help family members tune one another out during the COVID-19 crisis. And even Ikea has embraced fort building: The Swedish home furnishings giant recently released sketches and instructions for six adorable DIY forts you can try at home.
And if you’re up for buying rather than building a fort, plenty of options abound. Here are some cool options to consider, as well as more detailed DIY fort-building instructions you can try right now.
Teepee fort
This weather-resistant cone has room for three kids inside.
Wayfair
This cotton teepee can be set up in the playroom or the backyard, and comes with four poles for a sturdy structure. Plus there’s a window and a roll-down shade to peek out at the grown-ups ($52, Wayfair).
Canvas cabin
A fort that channels a Palm Springs vibe
Crate & Barrel
This square cotton tent comes with adorable cactus detailing and its own mailbox—perfect for secret notes to be passed back and forth from the outside world ($170, Crate & Barrel).
Circular tent
Choose from yellow stars or a pattern with gray and white clouds.
Macy's
This cute tent takes less than five minutes to build, and it collapses just as quickly so you can stow it away in a snap. Made from spot-clean polyester with a sweet ruffle along the top, this circus-style fort is a sweet spot for silent reading, drawing, and endless daydreaming ($49, Macy’s).
Play tunnel
Add a set of plastic balls to make a fun pit on each end.
Amazon
Wee ones will thrill to a brightly colored tent-and-tunnel combo, especially this choice with separate ends so each tot has her own play area. Kids can traverse the tunnel from the teepee to the square and then back again in this smart pick made from BPA- and phthalate-free material ($45, Amazon).
Fire engine fort
Sound the alarm! A fire truck tent is a red hot idea.
Wayfair
Fire truck toys and EMT costumes are a big part of childhood, so make your kid’s dream come true with his own red vehicle. This option features windows and a door, plus pictures of all the gear you’d expect on a real rescue truck, including an ax, shovel, ladders, and hose reels. And you’ll feel good about this purchase since the pigments and dyes are water-based and nontoxic ($107, Wayfair).
Paper spaceship
Just add crayons or markers for a 2-in-1 art project and fort.
Amazon
Hours of fun can be had with a blank canvas like this one. Astronauts-to-be can climb aboard, decorate their paper vessel, and then blast off into outer space, returning just in time for dinner ($36, Amazon).
Camo tent
Bring friends inside or hide from the enemy.
Target
Army battles can be waged safely from this lightweight igloo-style tent that comes in its own travel bag for easy transport. A mesh window allows air to flow, and the fact that it’s no-assembly means kids can pop it open themselves ($55, Target).
DIY fort from bedsheets
Want to save some bucks and use what you already have for a kids’ hideout? Turn to your linen closet.
“Take a rope and secure so it spans one side of the room to the other, and then place a sheet over it for an instant fort,” says Kincaid. You can widen this fort by securing chairs to the outstretched middle section of the sheet.
Or erect the same type of hideaway in the yard with a rope tied between two trees that’s draped with blankets, says Karen Gray-Plaisted of Design Solutions KGP. And when kids get older, they can move to real camping tents in the backyard, she adds.
DIY cardboard fort
Remember the forts we used to build out of huge cardboard delivery boxes? Check your recycle bin for any sizable containers.
“Cardboard is always an easy option, because with some packing tape, markers, and imagination, you can create a castle or a boat or anything else your kids like,” says Kincaid.

You’re a Wonder, Wonder Woman!
I was skeptical. I've never been a huge Wonder Woman fan; I didn't dislike the character, but she never really clicked with me. The recent DC films haven’t thrilled me either: I left Man of Steel without feeling hopeful or inspired; prerequisites for Superman stories. I didn't like Batman V Superman. Suicide Squad was fun, but a mess. Then the Wonder Woman trailers appeared and my interest was piqued. I wanted it to be good, but that was cautious optimism. Then reviews came out, the great word of mouth swept me up in the hype, and I couldn't wait to see it! Still, I’m sure my excitement didn’t compare to that of someone who'd grown up loving Wonder Woman and knew all about her; who’s inspired and empowered by her existence. Outside Lynda Carter's show, Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, and some animated movies, Wonder Woman’s had considerably fewer appearances than heroes like Batman and Spider-man, so I’d imagine this is a massive deal for her fans. With the unreasonable pressure of being the bar by which Hollywood will measure the bankability of not only female-led action and superhero films, but female stars and directors, this movie not only had to please the fans who’d waited so long, but it had to be a critically loved financial hit. Fortunately it’s all those things and more: Wonder Woman is outstanding! Go see this now!
Gal Gadot is fantastic, taking Diana (the best part of BvS) back to the past to show us who she is and how she came to be. Her Diana is charming, hopeful, new to Man's World but wise, empathetic but fully willing to silence those who'd hurt others, and aware of the great responsibility the Amazons have to the world, but still able to revel in her power. That last point is something we absolutely need to see more of in female superheroes: too often, the only women having fun with their abilities are the villains and "bad girls." It's great to see Diana grinning at her ability to do things like scale a wall with her bare hands; who wouldn't be overjoyed to accomplish these feats? We see a lot of sides to Diana as she goes from eager Wonder Tot (Lilly Aspell) to headstrong Wonder Girl (Emily Carey) to facing the horrors of Man's World during the First World War, and Gadot does it perfectly (the younger two actresses are great as well). Diana’s transition from thinking it’s cool to fight to witnessing the reality of war in trenches and gassed towns is extremely well-conveyed. Even so, Diana’s the inspirational, hopeful hero I’ve been wanting from the DCEU. Gadot also brings a wonderful sense of exuberant fascination with the perks of Man’s World, like the first baby she’s ever seen and her very first ice cream cone. Gadot, Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), and Lucy Davis (Etta Candy) have a great sense for screwball comedy as they play male and female social mores of the period for laughs, giving the characters a classic feel. Others have compared Gadot’s Diana to Christopher Reeve’s Superman and I’d say that’s dead-on: in much the same way Reeve brought Clark Kent and Superman to life, Gadot is Wonder Woman.
Gadot is backed up behind the camera by Patty Jenkins, who directs this beautifully. The action is clean and crisp; even periodic slow-motion fight highlights, which I'm generally not a fan of, are woven in nicely. Her pacing is great, taking time to breathe in each environment and to touch on each character without sacrificing the story’s momentum. Most importantly, Gadot is never exploited by the camera; if you want to see what a movie shot without the male gaze looks like, see this. Jenkins gets a great balance of humor and stakes from all of her actors and instills a Richard Donner Superman quality in Diana and Steve's relationship that feels timeless. I would've thought this and the period setting would feel at odds with the bombastic Zack Snyder-styled fights in the climax, but Jenkins blended the styles really well. The climax does look a little too CGI—it was noticeable but not enough to take me out of the movie—but it was still fantastic. There were two minor moments where the editing confused me for a second; not enough to create a plot hole, but more like the scene had been trimmed and I had to connect the dots about a minor sequence of events. Again, nothing egregious. There’s no reason Jenkins shouldn’t be getting offers to direct all the action movies now! I’d love to see her take on Man of Steel 2 (along with many more Wonder Woman sequels, of course!).
Chris Pine was charming and funny as secret agent Steve Trevor. I loved how constantly thrown by Diana he was and I'm glad he wasn't played or written as a cliché suave "ladies man" spy. He wasn’t made a fool by Diana either; the film knows how to make her great without making him incompetent. In fact, Pine and Gadot built one of the best-developed romances in comic book films with their fantastic chemistry. When they disagreed, it felt natural and relevant to the movie’s themes. Etta Candy was pure, undiluted fun and I'd love to see further adventures between her and Diana. Steve's mercenary friends brought some good texture and diversity to the film as well. My favorite was Sameer (Said Taghmaoui), who provided some great comic relief and truths about life plans. I also liked the Chief (Eugene Brave Rock), a Native American, especially when he drew a connection between the Germans and Americans for Diana, showing her all sides have evil in their past. Ewen Bremner’s Charlie, a sniper who can’t shoot, was interesting as a guy who wanted to be a hero but simply couldn’t. As author Zack Stenz pointed out on Twitter, all of these men (and Steve) kept fighting the good fight in the face of a world that had damaged them. I like that message a lot.
Connie Neilson's Hippolyta was a smart, idealistic queen of the Amazons and her idealism coming partially out of fear for her daughter's safety was an interesting, understandable twist. That's a cool facet to her role as wise ruler, and a testament to Neilson’s ability that she never came off as selfish for prizing Diana above everyone else. Robin Wright's Antiope was a pragmatic counterpoint to her queen: live in peace, but train (and train Diana) for war in case it happens. I enjoyed her training sessions with Diana and wish we’d seen more of how she and Hippolyta interacted outside of this issue. Ann Wolfe’s Artemis fell between Hippolyta and Antiope’s outlooks, backing up Diana’s assertion that they should hear Steve out, and I hope we see more of her in the sequel (in the comics, she too ventured to Man’s World and even took over as Wonder Woman; I wonder if she will at least visit her sister on screen). When war came to Themyscira's shores, the Amazons were awesome, effortlessly badass fighters! I’m sure their natural athleticism comes from the cool idea of using actual female athletes from all over the world to play the Amazons. I hope we get to see more of them in future installments!
Dr. Maru/Doctor Poison (Elena Anaya) was a great, creepy villain; another character I wish we'd seen more of. I didn't need to know why she was obsessed with poison or anything, but I wanted to know what other mayhem she could cause with her variety of chemicals. She felt like she was ripped directly from the early pulp comics and that was awesome! Danny Houston's villainous German General Ludendorf was as imposing as he needed to be to drive the film’s villainy. He and Maru get an incredible, unexpected moment of mustache-twirling glee involving an ineffective gas mask that I wish we'd see more of from onscreen villains.
World War 1 proved to be a great setting. It was refreshing to visit a time often overlooked in movies and superhero stories, usually in favor of World War II. That the war was compounded and exacerbated over previous treaties between nations isn't pointed out in the film, but I think that's an interesting indication of just how inhumane man can become over something as innocuous as an alliance. In hindsight, it also strengthens Ares’ theory. WW1's trench warfare also plays an important role, displayed in the instantly iconic "No Man's Land" sequence (which was insanely almost cut!). Someone online said it looked like she was fighting war itself, and that’s the most perfect expression of that sequence I can imagine. Diana rising out of the trenches and walking into battle to make her debut as Wonder Woman was astounding!
I loved the use of color in the movie, something I've not been a fan of in the washed-out Man of Steel and Batman V Superman. Themyscira was bright and vibrant, and those colors carry over to the dreary, smog-choked London and the haze-filled trenches via Diana's Wonder Woman armor. While her suit isn’t as bright as Lynda Carter’s was, it's as though she literally brings color and life into Man's World. The score was good and felt period-appropriate. I had a giant smile on my face whenever Diana's awesome theme from BvS came on; if that doesn't make you pump your fist and cheer for Diana, I don't know what music would. Well, maybe the Lynda Carter one; it's a shame they didn't at least reference that here. I wish they’d found a way for someone to say something like "all the world is waiting for you."
I hope Wonder Woman opens real-life doors for more female directors and convinces studios that women can headline action films. A $100+ million opening weekend and one of the smallest second-week drops in superhero movie history should shatter the lame excuse that female superheroes make bad leads, and the 52% female audiences should prove that superheroes aren’t just a guys’ hobby: they’re for everyone. Since the population of the country is roughly 51% female and 49% male, that audience stat would seem to indicate the film is resonating evenly across the board. I hope Captain Marvel (along with Batgirl, Gotham City Sirens, and Sony’s Silver Sable and Black Cat film) continue this trend, but just four DC/Marvel female-led movies in the next several years isn’t enough. Marvel Studios has no excuse not to finally give the already Box Office-proven Scarlett Johanssen a Black Widow movie. They should cast Gina Torres as She-Hulk and make the solo movies they apparently can’t with Hulk. Fox should capitalize on their female X-men. Can Sony still get Emma Stone to do an alternate universe Spider-Gwen?? It’s fitting Wonder Woman proved there’s an audience for female superheroes, given she was the first, but she shouldn’t be the last and it should’ve happened much sooner.
I’m not a skeptic anymore and this movie’s had me hunting down Wonder Woman comics for the past two weeks. For me, Wonder Woman is the best DC movie since Batman. That, Richard Donner’s Superman, and this are their best live-action films and WW is certainly one of the finest superhero films ever! I hope it meant as much to Diana’s fans and those she inspires. It’s absolutely worth seeing in theaters!
Full Spoilers...
I was worried with the way the creators had described Diana as a "retired hero" preceding BvS that she'd end this movie victorious but hopeless. I was very happy that didn't happen and instead, she ended the flashbacks knowing that love is the way to save the world. This was the hope Man of Steel left me wanting and I'm glad Diana finally brought it to the DC films. I can't believe a Diana who's realized this was simply inactive for all those decades (there's no way she sat out World War II), so I have to assume she (with Etta as her handler?) has been a secret hero ever since. I'd love to see those stories!
Like Lois Lane for Superman, I liked that Steve showed Diana humanity's potential, even though he was also connected to our worst impulses via the American treatment of Native Americans. I wish we could get another period film to see more of Gadot and Pine together; his death was sad and I'm sorry he won't be in future sequels.
The movie isn’t explicit about it, but I read Steve’s arrival through the barrier to Themyscira as a direct result of Diana’s first experience with her godkiller potential. I think that energy blast weakened the barrier; otherwise, how could Steve be the first person to ever stumble onto the island? I like that Diana’s first taste of her true power literally opens a larger world for her, bringing her into contact with all the good and evil of Man’s World.
Though Antiope’s death is somewhat cliche in the “dead mentor” sense, I liked that Diana wasn’t driven to action simply because she’d lost someone. She always wanted to go help and Antiope’s death didn’t change or inspire that part of her. If anything, it was the first wake-up call to how serious battle actually was.
I thought it was a little random that Diana was unable to return to Paradise Island, though maybe Hippolyta's "If you go, you may never return" was supposed to mean "you might die." If that wasn't my misunderstanding, then Diana trying to reconnect with her people and possibly lead them into the world could be a cool premise for a sequel.
I really liked that Ares wasn't who he seemed to be, or even the second-most obvious option (I thought he was Dr. Poison for most of the movie). Making him an unassuming good guy (David Thewlis) was a great twist, foreshadowed in hindsight by Diana's admonishment of the generals who'd hide in their offices. Plus, as I saw pointed out elsewhere, he's totally right about the armistice leading to worse horrors in World War II. I think that's a neat corruption of the idea of peace, which is a nice counterpoint to the seeming contradiction of waging war to establish peace. I enjoyed Ares' belief that war brings out the "best" in man; that it's the truest expression of our nature. What a great counterpoint to Diana's belief in our inner goodness, and a perfect way to stage their final battle as an argument! I do wish he hadn’t worn his comic book armor; that’s what made the climax look a little too CGI.
I thought it was interesting that the movie essentially boiled the Greek pantheon down to analogues for the Christian God (Zeus) and Devil (Ares), right down to Ares giving humanity knowledge of evil rather than making them do anything. Diana's fatherless birth also makes her a Greek spin on Jesus (kudos for keeping the classic claymation origin!). I think it would've been better if Aphrodite had granted Diana life instead of Zeus to increase the girl power and to go along with the “love is the way to save the world” idea (Aphrodite also brought Diana to life in the original version of the story). Ultimately, however, this revision didn't bother me as anything more than a missed opportunity. As much texture from the pantheon was lost to backstory (unnecessarily; there's no reason they couldn't have just been locked out from this realm), it's a cool way to twist the afterlife of the DCEU. Will they follow the New 52 comics to introduce Darkseid and Co. as rising "New Gods" in Justice League?
I hope they continue to unpack Diana's mythological heritage in the sequel. The gods are unfortunately gone, but there are a ton of other beings out there. Let's see classic Wonder Woman villains like Circe, Cheetah, and even Giganta! Doctor Poison would be fun to bring back too. And of course, Diana’s got to get her invisible plane!
Whatever the sequel brings, I can’t wait to see it!

1. She is believed to have lost more than a stone in weight after taking up Pilates. Adele looked sensational as she showcased her killer frame inside Drake's 33rd birthday bash, which was held at Goya studios in Hollywood on Wednesday. The Rolling In The Deep singer, 31, stunned in an off the shoulder black velvet gown as she partied the night away with her pals at the glitzy bash.
It was reported in June earlier this year that Adele's Reformer Pilates class has given her a new lease of life as she has lost more than a stone in weight after attending the workout with pal Ayda Field.
She has been loving her new workout regime and it really works for her.
'It’s a bonus that she has shifted some weight. Her mates are glad she’s letting loose and there’s nothing but good feelings towards her. She’s got a new lease of life.'
2. Sean Combs has gone by many names over the years — Diddy, Puff Daddy, Puffy, P. Diddy — and now he’s settled on yet another one, Love. The Bad Boy founder, 49, submitted a petition in Los Angeles County court Wednesday to officially change his legal name from Sean John Combs to Sean Love Combs, according to documents obtained by The Blast.
The petition lists “a desire to change middle name” as the music exec’s only reason for the move. In 2017, however, Diddy revealed that he had plans to go by “Brother Love” or simply “Love.” “I decided to change my name again,” said the mogul in a November 2017 Twitter clip. “I’m just not who I [was] before, I’m something different. So, my new name is Love, aka, Brother Love. I will not be answering to Diddy, Puffy, Puff Daddy or any of my other monikers but Love or Brother Love.”
3. Kanye West has made some bold claims including that he predicts that he will be US President in an explosive new interview. The 42-year-old rapper sat down for an exclusive two-hour interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Beats 1 radio which was released on Thursday. Other than his want to become the leader of the free world he made several other brazen statements including that he asked people collaborating to abstain from sex, he kicked an addiction to porn, and that there shouldn't be NSFW content available to kids on social media.
The interview took place in Wyoming as Kanye said that he is working on the framework of a presidential run possibly in 2024.
The husband of Kim Kardashian said when he wins the election: 'I will remember ... any founder that didn't have the capacity to understand culturally what we're doing.'
He wasn't done there as he called himself 'undoubtedly the greatest human artist of all time' before going into more detail about his controversial past with Trump.
West explained: 'For the greatest artist in human existence to put a red hat on was God’s practical joke to all liberals. Like, 'No! Not Kanye!"'
He later shed even more light on his political leanings as he said he is 'the most liberal.'
He also revealed that checking himself into the hospital for 'psychiatric emergency' back in 2016 led him to Christianity.
West explained: 'Now that I’m in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel, to let people know what Jesus has done for me.
‘I’ve spread a lot of things. There was a time I was letting you know what high fashion had done for me, I was letting you know what the Hennessey had done for me, but now I’m letting you know what Jesus has done for me, and in that I’m no longer a slave, I’m a son now, a son of God. I’m free. The most space that I had to think is when I went to the hospital.'Somehow lost in the shuffle is that Kanye announced that a new album titled Jesus Is Born will be released on Christmas Day before Jesus Is King has even been put out. He said: 'Sunday Service album, Jesus is Born, on Christmas is coming.' Kanye West's ninth studio album, Jesus Is King, along with the documentary of the same name are set for release tomorrow.
4. It was revealed on Wednesday that Ronnie Ortiz-Magro won't face any felony charges stemming from his recent domestic violence incident with baby mama Jen Harley. But the 33-year-old reality TV star was hit with five misdemeanor charges by the L.A. City Attorney for the October incident, according to TMZ on Thursday. The charges are comprised of 'one count of domestic violence, one count of brandishing a weapon, one count of child endangerment, one count of resisting arrest and one count of criminal threats', reported the gossip site.
According to the outlet on Wednesday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney declined to file charges against the Jersey Shore reality star either for domestic violence or for kidnapping.
Ronnie was arrested by LAPD officers on October 4 at a home he was sharing with his on/off partner Jen following a fight.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Ronnie allegedly 'slapped and punched Jen' before chasing her around the home with a knife while he was carrying their toddler, Ariana Sky.
The reality star also allegedly told Jen that 'he was going to kill her.'
The site reported that police 'broke down the door' to the Airbnb rental they were living in because they were worried the 18-month-old little girl was in danger.
Ronnie reportedly refused to 'go peacefully' and officers used a Taser to take him into custody on suspicion of kidnapping.
Jen was seen in surveillance footage running with Ariana during the fight and knocking on the neighbors door before placing the tot on the ground.
Ronnie was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Jen and Ariana following the altercation but that order was dismissed on October 11 after Jen failed to show up in court.
5. On the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way “Couples Tell All” special, Aladin Jallali had difficulty arguing his side of things as far as why his relationship with wife Laura fell apart. In addition to the language barrier, those cast members in person at the taping quickly took Laura’s side and teamed up on him.
Earlier today, Aladin attempted to get out of the hole he was in as far as public perception by sharing a series of lengthy “truth bomb” posts on Instagram explaining his side of why he and Laura did not work out. It seems clear that Aladin enlisted the help of an English translator as he makes several shocking revelations.
Here is a bullet point summary of some of Aladin’s major claims, followed by his posts in their entirety:
Laura catfished Aladin initially with altered images and claims that she was just 40 years old.
Laura has a drinking problem.
Aladin never had any intention of moving to the United States. He says he was well aware that Laura was not a US citizen, and that she was actually not allowed back in the country!
There were plans for the couple to relocate to Laura’s home country of Canada. Aladin says he gave Laura money for the visa sponsorship, but she lied and spent the money on other things.
While they were together, Laura paid for two months of rent while Aladin paid for four months. He also picked up the tab for their wedding, travels, and more.
Laura was careless with money and liked to stay in hotels, buy expensive drinks, etc.
Laura stating that her “pension” was cut is confusing. She allegedly told Aladin she retired from an automotive store five years before, but none of that really makes any sense.

Even though tacos are the most purchased and have remained their best-selling item for the last 57 years now. - Another long-time proverbial favorite at Taco Bell is Burritos. There are too many to list here and it would get way too confusing. But basically, they all come served with a soft-shelled tortilla filled with a world of goodness and all your heart’s deepest desires. - Gotta love the name! A dish originating from Cholula in the state of Puebla Mexico. Chalupas are made by pressing together masa dough and molding it into a concave shell and deep frying it. It looks like a container resembling a boat, hence the origin of the name. - These delicious pockets of flatbread are the Mexican version of a grilled cheese sandwich. The original quesadillas are typically filled with Oaxaca cheese, a stringy Mexican cheese made by a method of stretched curds called pasta filata. - Yes, Taco Bell serves pizza, and it will knock your socks off. Of course, it’s Mexican style but nonetheless still delicious. The ultimate fusion cuisine, pizza is more often associated with Italy, but who says Mexicans can’t have their own version. - Tortilla chips are another staple that originated from northern Mexico. These tiny morsels of chips were created by the Zapotec native women from the state of Oaxaca. Mostly made with corn tortillas, the natives would bake round tortillas in a clay oven known as a comixcal, and then salt them for preserving. - Nachos are usually heated tortilla chips or totopos. The ‘twisted sister’ counterpart of tortilla chips they’re covered with melted cheese or a cheese-based Nacho sauce, Pico de Gallo, even beans, chili and sometimes meats. - Still in the mood for nachos, but love those tater tots instead and can’t decide. You don’t have to! This is an actual dish, though not served at Taco Bell. The good thing is, you can customize and be inventive! - Have you noticed that wraps have become really popular? Taco Bell has also jumped on the bandwagon, by offering their version of a wrap called Grillers. They are not burritos or enchiladas, but actual perfectly round rolled flour tortilla filled with all your Mexican favorites - The best way to complete any meal is with dessert. Taco Bell has three desserts if you crave something sweet. Treat yourself to the Cinnabon Delight, the Taco Bell version of a Churro munchkin. Doughnut-holes filled with a sweet cream cheese frosting, dusted with cinnamon sugar. ➡️ SUBSCRIBE to BabbleTop! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX--mGSg0UwDjl7MDL8H5Jg?sub_confirmation=1 🥳 JOIN and become a BabbleTop member! https://www.youtube.com/babbletop/join 👕 Check out our MERCH! http://bit.ly/2Zzm8V3 🔥 Our Most Popular VIDEOS! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOvb3ZRIwh0&list=UUX--mGSg0UwDjl7MDL8H5Jg Top 10 Saddest McDonald's Happy Meal Toys Ever https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXjSIxWR9Jo&list=UUX--mGSg0UwDjl7MDL8H5Jg&index=63 Top 10 Most Popular Secret Menu Fast Food Items https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEDoWmFKBWI&list=PL2AXIR2uRsIlSkW5W0YF4gcw66jKxXUCy&index=13 Top 10 Candy Bars America Wished They Had https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiVIx10iBgc&list=UUX--mGSg0UwDjl7MDL8H5Jg&index=40 10 Coca-Cola Drinks That Embarrassed The Company https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEqcMBAbur4&list=UUX--mGSg0UwDjl7MDL8H5Jg&index=15 10 McDonald’s Items That Would Make America Great Again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UksU5Ki0SW4&list=UUX--mGSg0UwDjl7MDL8H5Jg&index=9 All clips used for fair use commentary, criticism, and educational purposes. Joe’s Weather Blog: Happy St Patrick’s Day + our next rain chance (SUN-3/17)
To say the weather on St Patrick’s Day can be all over the place would but putting it very mildly. The cold high was 24° back in 1892…2 years later we hit 84° for our warmest St Patrick’s Day. We had a stretch of warm ones in 2009, 2011 and 2012 with upper 70s to around 80°. The coldest low was back in 1906 with temperatures down to 10°. In 2014 we had a low of 18° and in 1960 we had…18″ of snow on the ground. In 1958 we had over 1″ of snow on today’s date. So this time of the year is usually a battle between spring and winter.
Forecast:
Today: Partly cloudy skies and not as mild as yesterday with highs 50-55°
Tonight: Variable clouds with perhaps a sprinkle? Lows in the upper 20s
Monday: About like today…50-55°
Tuesday: Showers possible…with highs 50-55°
Discussion
See yesterday’s blog about the latest river information upstream of KC towards NW MO…including updates on river stage forecasts.
I’m getting ready to head out for the St Patrick’s Day parade and I’m reminded of the scene when the cars we are passengers in are making the surn southwards on Broadway to a throng of revelers. In some years the trees (especially the Pear trees) have blossomed out and look fabulous as they can do during the spring season…this year though nary a bud to be found I don’t think.
I was doing some research yesterday and trying to find a way to point out how “grinding” this winter has been, especially related tot eh colder weather. A lot of you are over the cold…which I totally get…but this winter has been a bit strange from that standpoint.
We started the middle of October with our earliest accumulating snow in KC (.2″). Then we had the blizzard on Thanksgiving weekend..a bunch of small snow events…a few bigger ones and essentially no prolonged mildness to speak of except what happened in early December. Our “faux” thaw I guess. Anyway what we’ve been missing this winter is interludes of milder days. So I wanted to investigate that a bit more and see if that adds any clarity.
My colleagues at the NWS in KC sent out a tweet the other day…
The high temp at Kansas City Int'l Airport has remained below 65° for 133 days now, which ties a record set in 1912. Based on this afternoon's forecast high of 62, we should break that record today, but it will be close.

This caught my eye…and let’s tack on another 4 days to that by the way…and for that matter add on another few more to that too because we won’t be sniffing 65° for awhile I fear.
So here is what I did…looked back to the period from November 1st through 3/16…and wanted to see how many days of 60°+ we’ve had…65°+ …70°+ and 75°+ …and then compare that to the last few years of the same time period.
Temperature 2018-19 2017-18 2016-17 2015-16 2014-15 60° Or higher 9 22 37 49 25 65° Or Higher 0 11 27 23 14 70° Or Higher 0 4 16 14 8 75° Or Higher 0 1 4 3 3
I think that table is pretty interesting…as a matter of fact this year…the 9 days of 60° or higher is the fewest since 1993 I believe. Hmmmm what happened back in 1993? Oh yeah…flooding.
Then again…look what happens after the season’s 1st 70° day…on average.

You know for as chilly as it’s been…March isn’t exactly turning into a gangbuster snowy month (so far) in KC…we’ve had 2.8″ which IF it stopped there would be tied for the 51st snowiest March in KC.
Our next system is due in on Tuesday but it won’t rain all day long…as a matter of fact we may try to warm-up a bit as a surface low comes close to the I-70 corridor region.
It’s a weak system overall…and the better moisture may be more towards northern MO…not helping the saturated conditions up there but not having a big effect on the flood situation…and you can see the drop off towards the south. It’s also possible that depending on when exactly we start getting some light precip going early Tuesday…there still could be a few ice pellets/flakes mixed in briefly.
How warm we get on Tuesday is a bit of a tough forecast. We average the mid 50s now…and IF we can get dry weather for awhile on Tuesdya and IF we can get some sort of SE/S wind move into the KC Metro…we could warm-up more than I think (50-55°).
IF it rains all day long…we’ll be much cooler…but there has been a trend for milder weather with the more concentrated rain coming towards the later part of the day.
Beyond that nothing really remarkable overall…at least from a temperature standpoint and use the data below cautiously because we are definitely at the time of the year where these values change a lot.
On that note I will mention to be aware of changing temperature forecasts for the next few weeks especially as we start to transition the seasons. The battle between the warm and cold air masses gets more intense now…winter tries to hang on while the daylight gets longer and the sun angle gets even stronger. This time of the year can be rather perilous for forecasting high temperatures as well even 24 hours out. Not that those forecasts are bad…but there is a tendency I think to underestimate potential warmth by a few degrees.
Back to the slow start to spring…and granted it doesn’t “officially” start for another few more days…but the vegetation doesn’t go by calendars…
Notice the blues encroaching farther and farther north in the last few days of the animation above…this signals a delay in the typical spring “green-up” that is expanding northbound. Areas towards the deep south are having an early spring green-up though…
There have been years in the past that I’ve written about our early spring green-ups coming up into KC…as recently as a couple of years ago. Last year was another slow green-up for us with the crummy March and April weather we endured.
Speaking of which…the 1st 16 days this month are the 19th coldest start to March in KC weather history. Remember how crummy last March was…well on average through the 1st 16 days it was 10° warmer!!!
I did a double take when I saw that this morning. We had a lot of 40s though on the back half of March last year…hopefully we can do better this year.
